About The Position
The Caregiver provides personal assistance and routine daily care and services to residents to support their independence and quality of life. The role also assists residents with recreational activities to help maintain their optimum level of functioning. The position is with Encore Senior Living at The Courtyard at Delta and is part-time, 2nd shift. The organization emphasizes teamwork, professional development, promotion from within, and providing residents and their families with excellent service in a warm, caring, home-like community that fosters independence, happiness, privacy, and dignity.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a health care environment or equivalent is preferred; the employer is willing to train the right candidate.
- A love for working with seniors.
- Flexible, fun, energetic people person able to project calm, care, and professionalism in work-related situations.
