About The Position
A Better Solution in Home Care is hiring compassionate and dependable Caregivers (HCA/CNA) through its Bothell office. The service area spans Bellevue to Lake Stevens, with clients throughout the region who need care. Caregivers provide personalized, one-on-one support in clients’ homes to help them remain comfortable, safe, and independent. The role offers flexible scheduling and a supportive team environment, with caregivers matched to clients where they can build meaningful relationships and make a difference.
Requirements
- Washington State HCA or CNA certification, or currently working toward certification as permitted by Washington State requirements.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Dependable, compassionate, and comfortable working independently in a client’s home.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to meet Washington State background and employment requirements.
Nice To Haves
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Previous caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene.
- Support clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation according to their care plans.
- Prepare meals and assist with mealtime needs.
- Provide light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and other household support.
- Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or needs.
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
- Provide medication reminders according to the client’s care plan.
- Follow individualized care plans and complete required shift documentation.
