About The Position
Calling all compassionate, reliable North County caregivers! Do you have a heart for helping older adults one-on-one in their homes? Windward Life Care is hiring non-medical Home Care Aides in the North County area! We are honored to be a San Diego Union-Tribune Top Workplaces award winner for seven years running, 2019-2025. $21.50-$24.00/hr pay rate for most North County shifts, PLUS additional incentives for: Weekends + $1/hr Shorter shifts (less than 8 hours) + $2/hr and $20 gas stipend Inland Encinitas, Oceanside, Carlsbad, North Escondido and more! Work with a team of professional Care Managers with 24/7 support OPEN SHIFTS - MON/TUE/WED - 11pm-7am, TUE - 3pm-7pm Proudly serving San Diego County for 21 years, Windward Life Care is a group of trusted Aging Life Care ® and in-home care professionals with a premier reputation in our field. We offer geriatric care management services and non-medical home care services to clients who are billed on a private-pay basis. Requirements
- Caregiving experience with older adults, including: Alzheimer's/Dementia, Personal Care (Bathing/Showering, Incontinence Care)
- You are dependable, reliable, and an efficient problem solver
- Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance and Clean Driving Record -must feel comfortable driving clients in your vehicle
- Ability to lift, push or pull up to 40 lbs unassisted
- Ability to pass Home Care Services Bureau Live Scan background check and TB Test - We will PAY for costs in the application and Live Scan process!
- This position requires compliance with company infection control and safety protocols, including wearing a face covering during certain work activities.

- Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Transferring, Assisting with walking, Light Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Companionship, Errands and Appointments, Medication Reminders, Managing Dementia and Alzheimer's Related Behaviors
