About The Position
Right at Home is seeking caregivers to provide dependable, one-on-one support to adults who want to remain safe and comfortable in their own homes. The role may involve personal care and hygiene assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands or transportation, and support with clients’ everyday activities and routines. Flexible scheduling is offered, and caregivers receive paid training and ongoing development. The position is based in Bessemer, Alabama.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Previous caregiving experience required.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Run errands or provide transportation.
- Support clients with everyday activities and routines in their homes.
