About The Position
Kore Cares is hiring a temporary, part-time evening caregiver in the Yankton, South Dakota area. The role provides one-on-one care in clients’ homes to help them maintain their independence and quality of life. The position runs from November 1 through December 31 and includes evening shifts, approximately 4 or 5 PM to 9 or 10 PM, with rotating weekends. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Pay is $17–$22 per hour, with travel time and mileage reimbursed between shifts.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Support ambulation and transfers, with or without adaptive equipment.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Assist with housekeeping, transportation, and errands.
- Plan and prepare meals, provide feeding assistance, and clean up the kitchen.
- Offer companionship and social support.
- Follow all tasks outlined in each client’s personalized care plan.
