About The Position

Kore Cares is hiring a temporary caregiver to provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes in the Yankton, South Dakota area. The role supports clients’ independence, safety, and quality of life through personal care and other services outlined in each client’s personalized care plan. The position runs November 1 through December 31. Overnight shifts are approximately 9 or 10 PM to 7 or 8 AM, with rotating weekends. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with valid insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Support ambulation and transfers, with or without adaptive equipment.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with housekeeping, transportation, and errands.
• Plan and prepare meals, provide feeding assistance, and clean up the kitchen.
• Offer companionship and social support.
• Follow all tasks outlined in the client’s personalized care plan.
