About The Position

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout East Smithfield and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home while building a relationship with the person they support. No professional caregiving experience is required. The posting advertises weekend-only work and notes that full-time and part-time opportunities may be available based on current cases.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be able to complete required background checks.
• Be dependable, caring, and patient.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is welcome but not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA, or CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Help with mobility and everyday activities.
• Prepare meals.
• Complete light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and conversation.
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
• Follow the individual's care plan.
• Document the services provided.
