About The Position

Shepherd’s Staff In-Home Care is looking for kind, dependable caregivers who are passionate about providing quality care and companionship to seniors and adults in need of support at home. We’re looking for caregivers who treat clients like family and take pride in the work they do.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude
• Good communication and people skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Auto insurance must be in your name or list you as a covered driver

Nice To Haves

• CNA, GNA, or CMT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Help clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with walking, mobility, and safe transfers
• Give medication reminders (CMTs may administer medications when assigned)
• Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Observe and report any changes in client condition
• Drive clients to appointments or errands when needed
