Requirements
- CMT certification
- CNA certification
- Completion of a State-approved training course for CNAs
- Completion of a State-approved medication aide training program
- Patience

- Desire to care for residents in a gentle and empathetic manner
Responsibilities
- Dispensing medications per State standards and practice guidelines.
- Providing basic care to residents to maintain or regain physical, mental, and emotional well-being through quality of care and quality of life tasks.
- Working in collaboration with registered nurses.
- Performing basic CNA duties as needed.
- Dispensing resident medications as ordered by the physician following standard of practice for medication administration.
- Caring for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse.
