We are looking for a Full-Time Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for seniors, adapting to their individual needs. This role requires adaptability and responsiveness in caring for the elderly. State Certification as a Nursing Assistant must be obtained within the timeframe specified in the offer letter. Requirements

  • State Certification as a Nursing Assistant must be obtained within specified time frame per offer letter.
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards.
  • Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment.
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Following the care plan as directed by supervising nurse.
  • Assisting with bathing and grooming, including shampooing hair, finger and toenail care, brushing teeth, and shower assistance.
  • Providing medication reminders to ensure medications are taken at the correct time as directed by the doctor.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties to maintain a safe and clean environment, such as making the bed and cleaning the bathroom and kitchen.
  • Transferring clients from chairs, toilets, beds, and to and from vehicles.
  • Assisting with toileting to ensure comfort and prevent infections.
  • Monitoring changes in client’s health and reporting concerning changes to the supervising nurse.
  • Providing companionship to residents.
  • Participating in and attending all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
