About The Position
Comprehensive Home Health Solutions is seeking compassionate, experienced Caregivers to provide personalized in-home care during daytime hours in Northern Nevada, including Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and surrounding areas. The role is described as Personal Care Assistant and involves supporting clients’ safety, comfort, well-being, and independence in their homes. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling. Caregivers follow individual care plans, assist with daily living needs, and coordinate with the care team. The position includes travel between clients and may require accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, and other outings. Requirements
- Compassionate, reliable, and responsible.
- Physical ability to assist with personal care tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two or more years of professional caregiving experience, or willingness to learn; training is provided.
- Cleared through NABs within the past six months.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to clients according to their individual care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and catheter care.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding while considering dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Understand diet textures and thickened liquid consistencies.
- Provide light housekeeping to help maintain a safe and clean environment.
- Monitor for fall safety hazards and help prevent falls.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping, and other outings as required.
- Document care provided and report changes in clients’ conditions to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the care team to provide coordinated, holistic care.
