About The Position

Griswold Home Care has immediate openings for Caregivers, CHHAs, and CNAs in Ocean County, New Jersey. Caregivers provide compassionate, quality care to clients in their homes. The position is described as hourly, with full-time and part-time openings, and pays $23.00 to $26.00 per hour. CHHA training is available to staff for $25.00. Eligible employees can access ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous caregiving or related experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to undergo a background check.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist clients with mobility and transfers.
• Monitor clients’ care and report changes or concerns to appropriate parties.
• Help prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain documentation and communicate regularly with the care team.
• Follow applicable policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations related to caregiving and client care.
