About The Position
Experienced Caregivers with a commitment to providing a higher standard of care are needed for Home Care in Cleveland, TX and surrounding areas. Day, Evening, Overnight, and weekend shifts are available, ranging from 4 to 12 hours. This role is for individuals who possess compassion and commitment to make a difference in people's lives and who wish to work with a home care agency that genuinely cares about its employees. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two (2) years of documented health care experience is REQUIRED
- Licensed driver with valid insurance and reliable automobile
- Certified CPR
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull.
- Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Providing care as directed by a nursing supervisor.
- Providing care according to the patient's plan of care.
- Assistance with daily tasks.
- Feeding.
- Meal preparation.
- Linen changes.
- Light housekeeping.
- Possibly provide transportation to doctor appointments.
