About The Position
This role involves providing essential support to clients, focusing on activities of daily living, transportation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and light personal care. Responsibilities include assisting with household tasks, running errands, accompanying clients to appointments, preparing meals, and offering personal assistance with general living needs such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming. Companionship is also a key aspect, involving stimulating conversation and encouragement.
Requirements
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
