About The Position

Right at Home Salt Lake is seeking compassionate caregivers for part-time weekend openings in Davis County. The role involves providing essential one-on-one care to seniors and adults with disabilities, enabling them to remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. Requirements

Must be 18 or older
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to pass a background check

Experience with dementia or behavioral care
Familiarity with hoyer lifts and gait belts

Responsibilities

Companionship
Assistance with personal hygiene and mobility
Meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Transportation to appointments or outings
Medication reminders
Creating meaningful connections that foster emotional well-being

Benefits

Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (based on experience, CNA, or Dementia Certification), minimum $27.50 per shift
Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
Raises after 60 days and annual reviews with consistent hours
Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)
Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
