About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking compassionate, experienced, and reliable caregivers, specifically CNAs and HCAs, to join our team in the Portland, Oregon area. We are hiring for part-time hours and require caregivers to be over the age of 21. We offer paid training for 8 hours if needed and provide flexible scheduling. Our caregivers are essential to our high standards of care and are dedicated to improving the lives of our clients.

Requirements

  • Caregiver with at least (2) year of professional caregiver experience, highly preferred.
  • Ability to lift, move or assist patients using proper body mechanics.
  • Must have valid Driver's License, proof of current auto insurance.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with seniors.
  • Must be reliable and dependable.
  • Must be over the age of 21.

  • Congenial: Nurturing and foster a sense of connection and camaraderie with those we care for. Their warmth and communication helps clients understand how much we appreciate them.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, transferring, toileting, incontinence, and feeding.
  • Assisting with IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) including shopping, housekeeping, medication management, and meal preparation.
  • Following each client's Care Plan.
