About The Position

BrightStar Care is hiring Personal Care Attendants (PCA) and Caregivers to provide compassionate, high-quality care to clients in their homes. The role involves assisting clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, transferring, hygiene, showering, companionship, and transportation. The position offers weekly pay ranging from $15-$17 per hour and requires consistent weekend availability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Personal Care Attendant (PCA) / Caregiver
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Current driver’s license and auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable working around household pets (cats/dogs)
• Valid physical and a negative 2-step TB test
• CPR and First Aid certifications

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Assisting with showers, personal hygiene, and bed baths
• Safe transfers using gait belts or Hoyer lifts
• Monitoring vital signs
• Providing toileting assistance, including briefs, urinals, and bedpans
• Delivering basic and advanced dementia care
• Helping with repositioning for comfort
• Transportation support
• Pet Care
