About The Position

Visiting Angels of Main Line is recruiting experienced Caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and Direct Care Professionals to provide personalized in-home care to seniors in Lower Merion, Pennsylvania, and surrounding communities. Caregivers help clients maintain independence, dignity, and comfort at home. Opportunities are based on client needs and caregiver availability, with daytime, morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend shifts. Full-time and part-time positions are available. Compensation is $15–$20 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, availability, and assignment. Applicants must provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience, excluding care provided to family members.
• Valid driver's license and dependable personal transportation.
• Experience assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Comfort providing personal care to male and female clients.
• Experience with bathing, mobility assistance, and transfers.
• Willingness to work in homes with pets.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Consistent attendance and dependable availability.
• Ability to meet required TB screening and onboarding requirements.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to provide proof of vaccination.

Nice To Haves

• Dementia, Alzheimer's, or hospice experience.
• Bilingual communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Support daily activities and personal care routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Prepare meals and assist with meal planning.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Offer medication reminders.
• Assist with walking, mobility, and safe transfers.
• Run errands and accompany clients to appointments.
• Support individuals with dementia or memory-related conditions.
