About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers in Alvin, Texas, who are willing to travel to surrounding areas within a 20-mile radius. Caregivers provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and veterans, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, safety, and quality of life. The role involves building meaningful relationships with clients and supporting their daily needs in their own homes. Part-time opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling, including weekends and overnight shifts. Orientation is provided in the office.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening.
• Willingness to work with both male and female clients.
• Ability and willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of Alvin, Texas.
• A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude, with a genuine desire to help others.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while respecting their privacy and dignity.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility, errands, and appointments.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Monitor clients’ well-being and report changes in their condition.
• Encourage clients to participate in daily activities and remain as independent as possible.
