About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) for immediate openings in Derry, New Hampshire, and surrounding areas. The role provides non-medical in-home care to seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. Caregivers help clients maintain independence and dignity in the comfort of their homes.
Requirements
- Have a compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
- Be able to work independently in a client's home.
- Be able to pass a background screening.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving or PCA experience.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
- Remind clients to take medications.
- Accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with office staff.
