Caregiver – Flexible Shifts (Day, Night, Weekend)
About The Position
Amada Senior Care is actively seeking dedicated caregivers in Pearland, Texas, who are willing to travel to surrounding areas. We are looking for professionals who are committed to helping others and are prepared to step into meaningful work right away. As a caregiver, you will play an important role in helping seniors and veterans remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the homes they know and love. Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- 2 years of caregiving experience is required
- Willingness to work with both male and female clients
- Must be willing to travel within a 20-mile radius and to surrounding areas
- Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
Nice To Haves
- Hands-on experience using a Hoyer lift and gait belt preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
- Providing medication reminders
- Assisting with mobility, errands, and appointments
- Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
- Observing and reporting changes in condition
- Encouraging independence and participation in daily activities
