Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Valid auto insurance
• Reliable transportation every single day
• Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
• Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
• Supportive and compassionate approach to client care

Responsibilities

• Providing in-home companionship to elderly clients
• Assisting elderly clients with personal hygiene and basic needs, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
• Providing reminders to clients to take prescribed medications
• Assisting with mobility inside the home and outside the home, including doctor’s appointments, walks, and other activities
• Planning and preparing meals
• Completing client shopping or accompanying clients while they shop
• Performing basic housekeeping duties
• Reporting unusual incidents and responding quickly and responsibly in emergency situations
• Providing activities that support essential daily living
