About The Position
Amada Senior Care is growing and seeking compassionate, dependable caregivers in Port Arthur, TX & Surrounding Areas. Caregivers are essential to helping seniors and veterans stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. This role offers meaningful work that changes lives for individuals with a caring heart who love helping others.
Requirements
- Kind, dependable, and caring individuals.
- Reliable transportation + valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to travel within Port Arthur and surrounding areas.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical care and companionship tailored to client needs.
- Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
- Give medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
- Drive or accompany clients to appointments and errands.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Encourage independence, activity, and engagement.
