About The Position

Visiting Angels Central Ohio is hiring compassionate, dependable FLEX Caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors in their homes. We build schedules around your life, allowing you to choose the days, times, and locations that work best for you. As a caregiver, you'll provide non-medical assistance that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. One of the best parts of the job is building meaningful relationships with the clients you serve. Visiting Angels Columbus West is a locally owned and operated home care agency that has proudly served seniors and their families throughout Central Ohio for more than 17 years. Our mission is simple: to help seniors age safely and comfortably in the place they call home.

Requirements

• Valid Ohio driver's license
• Reliable vehicle and auto insurance
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Smartphone for scheduling and visit documentation
• 1 year previous caregiving required or STNA

Nice To Haves

• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing and dressing.
• Assist with mobility and transfer.
• Prepare meals.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and conversation.
• Run errands and provide transportation assistance.
