About The Position

At Right at Home, our caregivers provide more than assistance. Right at Home provides outstanding care and we are a leader in the home care industry. We serve the towns of Englewood, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda, and limited zip codes in North Port.

Requirements

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
• A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Must pass drug screening
• Pass a full employment background check

Responsibilities

• Assisting your client with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, and shaving.
• Helping clients with light housekeeping, laundry, and other household chores.
• Preparing meals.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Assisting clients through prescribed range of motion exercises.
• Providing dementia care.
• Engaging in companionship activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
