About The Position

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Woodinville, WA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client's care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed.

Requirements

Previous caregiving or related experience preferred, but not required.
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable.
Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care.
Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
Must be available to work Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.
Provide medication reminders as directed.
Assist clients with prescribed exercises and other recommended activities.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
Perform light housekeeping tasks that the client is unable to complete independently.
Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands when needed.
Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations.
