About The Position

At HomeWell Care, caregiving isn’t just work—it’s a calling. This position is based in San Mateo County, California, and its surrounding communities.

Requirements

• HCA certification (CNA license preferred)
• Caregiving experience: 6 months full‑time or 12 months part‑time
• Strong communication and a compassionate heart
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance (if transporting clients)
• Current TB test
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks
• Trustworthiness, punctuality, and maturity
• Ability to pass background checks

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assist with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, meals)
• Support safe mobility and transportation to appointments
• Prepare meals and give medication reminders
• Follow safety protocols in emergencies
• Engage clients in activities they love to promote wellness
