About The Position

Griswold Home Care is hiring caregivers who live in Southeast Houston or its surrounding Southeast Houston service territory. Caregivers travel directly to clients’ homes to provide non-medical personal care, homemaking, and companionship services. The role helps seniors live as fully and independently as possible in their own homes while preserving their dignity. Caregivers assist clients with household and daily-living tasks, including laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, personal hygiene, bathing, and feeding. They may provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments. Caregivers complete documentation for each shift, submit timely updates, and communicate routinely with the office about clients’ conditions and needs. The position offers flexible hours, with opportunities to assist clients on day or night shifts; client care needs range from four hours to 24-hour care.

Requirements

Live within Southeast Houston or the surrounding Southeast Houston service territory.
Have reliable transportation.
Have a valid driver’s license.
Have auto insurance.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have at least one year of industry experience.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two or more years of home care experience is a plus; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities

Provide non-medical elderly care and companionship in clients’ homes.
