10AM - 2PM: HCA/ CNA Needed
About The Position
Actikare Responsive In Home Care is seeking compassionate caregivers, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), or Home Care Aides (HCAs) with experience caring for seniors. Caregivers provide in-home support that promotes clients’ well-being, dignity, quality of life, and independence. The posting highlights 10 a.m.–2 p.m. shifts in Woodinville and notes that other shifts may be available. Generally expected hours are 12–20 per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours per week. Compensation is $21–$23 per hour for HCA and CNA caregivers. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory background-check results, including criminal-history checks with fingerprinting, and satisfactory checks with prior employers and/or character references. Requirements
- Active Washington State CNA or HCA certification, or proof of completion of or current enrollment in a training program.
- Valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English.
- U.S. work authorization.
- Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality.
- Respectful and compassionate demeanor with a good bedside manner.
- Outstanding communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
- Experience caring for seniors.
Responsibilities
- Provide pleasant and supportive companionship.
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including doctor’s appointments and walks.
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks.
- Perform light housekeeping duties clients cannot complete on their own, including preparing meals.
- Prepare for clients.
- Report unusual incidents to the agency, medical professionals, and family members.
- Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
