About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one support for a client living with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This is an opportunity to make a real impact by helping one individual remain safe, independent, and engaged in everyday life. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 10a-6p and other hours available in surrounding towns!
Requirements
- Patient, compassionate, and dependable
- Calm, positive, and able to adapt to changing situations
- Comfortable following individualized care plans
- An excellent communicator with strong observation skills
- Passionate about helping others live safely and independently
- Authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Experience caring for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), neurological conditions, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health needs is preferred
- HHA, PCA, CNA, or caregiver experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and activities of daily living
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safety awareness
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
- Provide medication reminders
- Encourage participation in daily routines and community activities
- Observe and report changes in the client's condition
- Maintain accurate care documentation
