About The Position

CareWorks Health Services is seeking caring and dependable caregivers of all experience levels to provide one-on-one support to clients throughout Orange County. This role offers flexible scheduling with opportunities for morning, afternoon, evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Caregivers will be responsible for assisting clients with daily activities, personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and providing companionship.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a caregiver, or personal caregiving experience (Home Care Aide, Personal Care Aide, In-Home Caregiver)
• Must have an HCA number or be willing to obtain one
• Willingness to complete Live Scan/background screening
• Reliable and dependable
• Professional and compassionate
• Comfortable assisting clients with daily activities
• Able to follow client care plans and instructions
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with bathing and personal hygiene
• Helping with dressing and grooming
• Supporting with toileting and incontinence care
• Assisting with transfers and mobility
• Implementing fall prevention strategies
• Preparing meals
• Performing light housekeeping duties
• Doing laundry
• Providing medication reminders
• Offering companionship
• Assisting with grocery shopping
• Running approved errands
• Accompanying clients to appointments
• Providing general support and supervision
