About The Position

Independent Home Health is seeking dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with clients, help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent, and provides flexible scheduling with full-time and part-time opportunities. No professional caregiving experience is required, but reliability, patience, and a desire to help others are essential.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be able to complete required background checks
• Be dependable, caring and patient

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.
• Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Help with mobility and everyday activities
• Prepare meals
• Complete light housekeeping
• Provide companionship and conversation
• Assist with errands or appointments when needed
• Follow the individual's care plan
• Document the services you provide
