Requirements

Previous experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
Comfortable around pets
Ability to accompany the client on outings and participate in activities
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance preferred
Ability to pass a background check and meet all caregiver onboarding requirements
Active California Home Care Aide registration
Recent TB test or chest X-ray as required by law
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. with valid identification

Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and supervision in a safe, supportive environment
Assist with community outings, recreational activities, and social engagement
Encourage participation in hobbies, exercise, and daily routines
Provide reminders and light assistance with activities of daily living as needed
Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping related to the client
Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior
Ensure the client's safety and well-being during activities and outings
