About The Position

ComForCare Home Care is looking for dependable, compassionate caregivers who are interested in working on an as-needed (PRN) basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced caregiver who wants flexibility, would like to supplement their current income, or enjoys picking up additional shifts without committing to a regular full-time schedule. As a PRN caregiver, you will have the opportunity to pick up available shifts based on client needs, caregiver call-outs, vacations, schedule changes, and other coverage needs. There are no guaranteed weekly hours with this position. Instead, you choose from available shifts that work with your schedule. We value caregivers who are willing to step in and help our clients when unexpected coverage needs arise. Qualifying shifts may include additional incentives such as: PRN/Open Shift Premium: Additional hourly pay for designated PRN shifts, Last-Minute Coverage: Additional incentive for qualifying shifts accepted within 24 hours, Same-Day Call-Out Coverage: Higher premium or pickup bonus for qualifying emergency coverage, Weekend & High-Need Shifts: Additional incentives may be offered for designated difficult-to-fill shifts, Reliability Incentives: Additional recognition or bonuses may be available for PRN caregivers who consistently accept and successfully complete coverage. Incentives are based on qualifying shifts and are paid after the shift is successfully completed. You get the flexibility of an as-needed position while having opportunities to earn additional compensation for helping cover priority shifts. PRN caregivers may also receive early notification of available shifts and opportunities to transition into a regular client schedule when openings become available. This position can be a great fit for caregivers who already work another job, attend school, have changing availability, or simply prefer a flexible schedule. PRN/as-needed employment does not guarantee a minimum number of hours. Available hours will vary based on client and agency needs. Additional premiums and bonuses apply only to shifts specifically designated as qualifying for an incentive. Requirements

• Dependable and responsive when accepting a shift.
• Compassionate and comfortable working with seniors and adults who need assistance.
• Able to communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff.
• Willing to follow individual client care plans.
• Committed to completing scheduled shifts once they have been accepted.
• Reliability is extremely important.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Personal care, bathing and grooming assistance.
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.

• Other approved activities of daily living.
• Accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
