About The Position
Assisting Hands Central Milwaukee is seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to support a client in their home. This role focuses on providing personal care and daily living assistance while ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort in a home environment.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Able to follow a care plan and communicate effectively
- Physically able to assist with transfer-related tasks
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Experience with Hoyer lift and transfers is a plus (training may be provided)
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and hygiene support
- Provide assistance with transfers, including use of a Hoyer lift
- Support client who uses a wheelchair with mobility needs
- Assist with meal preparation
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Provide medication reminders
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Provide companionship and supportive care
