About The Position

Mennonite Village is seeking a compassionate and dependable Caregiver to join our Memory Care team, where empathy, patience, and heartfelt support help seniors feel safe, valued, and engaged. In this rewarding role, you'll provide hands-on care and companionship while helping residents experience comfort, dignity, and moments of joy throughout their daily routines. You'll work alongside a supportive team in an energetic, mission-driven environment that values kindness, respect, and person-centered care. Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Knowledgeable and adhere to a resident's service plans.
• Maintains residents' dignity by providing privacy and confidentiality.
• Effectively engage and communicate with elderly individuals.
• Exhibit patience, tact, and willingness to handle challenging situations.
• Foster positivity and actively engage in daily problem-solving.
• Ability to accurately document activities of daily living.
• Compassionate bedside manner and empathy toward residents.
• Understanding of and commitment to residents rights and dignity.
• Criminal background check is required.
• Must pass a drug screening.

• First aid certification and Food handler's card within first 120 days of employment.
