About The Position

Griswold Home Care of Palo Alto is hiring compassionate full-time Caregivers to join our team! If you love making a real difference in seniors' lives and want steady, full-time hours with a company that genuinely values you, we'd love to hear from you. As a full-time Caregiver, you'll help seniors live fully and independently in the homes they love. You'll be scheduled for regular full-time hours, providing continuity of care your clients can rely on.

Requirements

A caring, patient, and dependable attitude --- you genuinely enjoy helping seniors
Availability to work full-time hours, including some weekends as needed
Reliable transportation
Ability to meet California Caregiver registration requirements (we can help you register)

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
2+ years of caregiving experience is a plus --- caring for a loved one counts! We're willing to train.
Bilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Tagalog)

Responsibilities

Companionship and engaging, positive interaction
Help with daily living --- bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene, always with dignity and respect
Light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation
Medication and appointment reminders
Compassionate support for clients with dementia or cognitive impairments
Clear, timely shift documentation and communication with our office team
