About The Position

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care for seniors in Palos Hills, Illinois. The role supports clients in remaining safe and independent in their homes. Caregivers may work full-time or part-time, and the position is performed in person. The employer provides training and emphasizes reliability, respect, compassion, and excellent care.

Requirements

At least 1 year of caregiving or home care experience.
Willingness to follow health and safety standards.
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking, with attention to dietary constraints.
Respectful and compassionate manner and good bedside manner.
Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
Driver’s license.
Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the USA.
Must be very reliable.

Responsibilities

Provide medication reminders.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility at home and outside, including at appointments and during walks.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
Shop for clients or accompany them while shopping when needed.
Perform light housekeeping tasks clients cannot complete themselves, including meal preparation.
Report unusual incidents to the Care Coordinator.
Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
Follow the client’s care plan.
