About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Female Caregiver to provide one-on-one care and companionship for seniors in their homes in Hacienda Heights. The client requires moderate assistance with daily activities and has specific needs related to OCD and anxiety. This is a part-time position with essential Sunday availability. Our team has been serving the community for over 10 years, with over 100 caregivers dedicated to helping seniors thrive safely and comfortably at home.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience
• Family caregiving, volunteer experience, and classroom training are also considered
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA)
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available to work weekends to qualify for the hiring bonus
• Reliable transportation to travel between client homes
• Assisting clients with mobility and transfers
• Lifting up to 35 lbs frequently (50 lbs occasionally)
• Pushing wheelchairs or medical equipment
• Standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching throughout your shift

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with clients who have OCD and anxiety
• Patient, understanding, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and companionship for seniors in their homes
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Monitor changes in clients' condition and communicate updates with our care team
• Support seniors living with memory loss through engaging activities and meaningful companionship
• Follow individualized care plans to help clients remain safe and independent
