Caregiver Needed- Ladera Heights (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays,Fridays, Saturdays: 12noon-4pm and Sundays: 12noon-4pm & 4pm-11:59pm)
About The Position
24 Hour Home Care is hiring a caregiver to support children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes in Ladera Heights. The caregiver provides attentive, compassionate care to clients of diverse backgrounds and with a range of medical health conditions, helping them live safely and independently. The listed shifts are Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. The role emphasizes the company’s Care & Compete Principles: We Care, Performance Matters, Improve Always, Own it with Courage, and Win Together. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, medication reminders, errands and transportation, and following the client care plan while providing updates as needed. Caregivers should be able to commute to Ladera Heights and bring any specialized caregiving experience they have. The position offers flexible scheduling based on availability, skillset, and client needs, along with paid orientation, training, and sick time. Pay is set by assignment and may vary with client location and required services; the stated expected California pay range for current assignments is $16.90–$19 per hour.
Requirements
- Provide contact information for two references who can attest to caregiving experience.
- Provide valid identification documents that comply with I-9 requirements.
- Provide proof of a negative TB test; the company covers the cost for eligible candidates if needed.
- Be able to commute to Ladera Heights; a reliable commute or plans to relocate before the start date are preferred.
- Be empathetic and attentive when supporting clients.
- Be able to work the listed shifts: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.; Sundays from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
