About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to join their Assisted Living team. This role involves assisting the licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. It is a part-time second shift position (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM) offering flexible scheduling, benefits, and a fun work environment with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicates effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- Ability to document care given.
- Good assessment skills.
Nice To Haves
- Prior geriatric care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, positioning, turning, toileting and exercising.
- Gives prompt and efficient assistance to nursing personnel in non-professional duties and care of residents under supervision of RN and LPN.
- Reports and records observations and results of treatments, tests, procedures and specimens when indicated.
