Caregiver (PM Shift) - Prior Lake
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring caregivers for its Prior Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care community, which includes 32 units and 10 Memory Care apartments. Caregivers work directly with residents to provide personalized, person-centered care and support. Candidates may be experienced or newly certified, and medication-administration training is provided. New team members complete four days of paid onboarding training, Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Arden Hills, Minnesota training center. The position is offered on a part-time or full-time basis and requires availability for the PM shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. All part-time and full-time shifts require availability to work every other weekend.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience.
- At least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass medications; training is provided.
- Team player with excellent communication, empathy, and reliability.
- Availability for the PM shift, 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- Availability to work every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care.
- CNA certification.
- CPR/First Aid knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support resident mobility and transfers within the facility.
- Assist with medication administration.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and conversation.
- Provide light housekeeping and meal assistance.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to the leadership team.
- Respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
