About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities. At Keep Em Home, our mission is to provide professional and paraprofessional services for everyone ranging from young to elderly clients in their homes assisting them to achieve the highest level of potential in their day-to-day self-care activities. We are committed to providing high quality, multidisciplinary care by our team of professionals who recognize the need for a comprehensive in depth personal assessment of needs from both the client and professional’s point of view.

Requirements

Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients’ needs effectively.
Familiarity with senior care practices and working with individuals with disabilities.
Proficient in meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions or preferences.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
Driver’s License and working vehicle required

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Ensure that residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times.
Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including helping clients move safely around their home or to appointments.
Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests.
