About The Position
Brookdale is hiring Caregivers to provide direct care to residents in a respectful, home-like environment. Caregivers help residents with activities of daily living and household tasks, recognize individual needs, encourage independence, and engage residents in meaningful conversations. Depending on state regulations, training or certification may be required. The role offers opportunities for professional development and advancement, including paths to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) and Medication Technician (QMAP) positions. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents and recognize individual needs.
- Encourage resident independence and treat each senior with respect and dignity.
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
- Help residents with vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and dishes.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and provide attentive care.
