Caregiver (CNA or CHHA) Memory Care
About The Position
Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personal care, support, and companionship to residents in memory care. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, observing residents’ changing needs, coordinating with the Nurse to update Resident Care Plans, and encouraging participation in community programs and activities. The stated pay range is USD $21.25–$24.50 per hour. Compensation offers may consider experience, qualifications, location, community size, certifications, and training; the listed range excludes any applicable bonuses or incentives and the value of benefits.
Requirements
- Positive attitude and enjoyment of working with people.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Current state-required CNA, HHA, or CHHA certification; Medication Aide certification is also noted as a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, engaging personal care, support, and companionship.
- Engage and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Observe changes in residents’ day-to-day and personal care needs and work with the Nurse to update their Resident Care Plan.
- Encourage residents to participate in community programs and activities.
