About The Position
Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Coal Township and surrounding communities. Caregivers help the individuals they support remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home while building a relationship with them. No professional caregiving experience is required. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available based on available cases, with flexible scheduling. The position pays $15 per hour.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Have reliable transportation.
- Be able to complete required background checks.
- Be dependable, caring, and patient.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience.
- Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA, or CNA.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, depending on the individual's needs.
- Help with mobility and everyday activities.
- Prepare meals.
- Complete light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
- Follow the individual's care plan.
- Document the services provided.
