About The Position

Are you a caring, reliable, and compassionate individual looking to make a difference in someone’s life? We are seeking motivated caregivers to join our team and provide exceptional care to our clients. If you have a passion for helping others and want to work in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you! This position involves 3-5 shifts per week, from 7am to 3:30pm, in Gilroy. Experience with special needs clients is a plus.

Requirements

• Previous caregiver experience required
• Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS
• 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required
• Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening
• CPR certification
• TB test or chest x-ray
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

Nice To Haves

• Special Needs experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Help with light housekeeping and laundry
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior
• Follow care plans and safety protocols
• Assist with medication reminders
• Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed
• Foster independence and promote social interaction
