About The Position

Senior Helpers works with every Caregiver to provide the best employment experience possible. Senior Helpers culture is based on strong core values, recognition of achievements and respect. Hours are Monday-Friday 8a-4p for a female ABI Client. Times may be flexible. We are looking for someone to work with our client M-F, 11a-5p, times may vary.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must have valid Driver’s License & Car Insurance
Must have your own reliable transportation
Must have High School diploma or GED
No felons

Nice To Haves

Some of our Caregivers have certifications like CNA, HHA, or PCA, but those are not required.
If you have experience caring for a family member or have been a full-time parent or homemaker, you can be a great Caregiver.
If you worked in an assisted living facility, Skilled Nursing, Senior Home, or Senior Center as a Caretaker, you are just who we need.
If you have been a teacher, child care worker, or you're retired and want to give back, this could be perfect for you.
We want to talk to you if you have certifications like Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid, and Personal Care Aid.

Responsibilities

Companion Caregivers are really just that, companions.
When they first arrive, they might do a safety check, help prepare meals, or pick out clothes for the day.
You are a friend that plays games, runs errands, cleans up, and genuinely tries to make someone smile.
Our Personal Caregivers are going the next step and helping our seniors bathe, get dressed, and brush their hair and teeth.
You help them stay safe with medication reminders and general mobility around the house.
