About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is looking for compassionate and dependable caregivers in Sarasota to provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking caregivers who genuinely enjoy helping others and are looking for flexible hours and rewarding work with a supportive team. Most current opportunities are weekday daytime shifts, with schedules depending on client needs and your availability. We welcome experienced caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and caregivers with hands-on experience who do not have CNA or HHA certification.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on caregiving experience preferred
• Experienced caregivers with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Clean driving record
• Access to email and a smartphone
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily living activities
• Help with bathing, dressing, and toileting as needed
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
• Provide transportation when needed
• Follow individualized plans of care
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the office team
• Aiding with activities of daily living
• Assisting with shopping, errands & transportation
• Pick up prescriptions & assist with telehealth visits
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Providing companionship
