About The Position

Amada Senior Care is hiring caring, dependable, and dedicated caregivers to serve seniors and veterans in Nacogdoches, Huntington, Lufkin, Etoile, Broaddus, Diboll, and surrounding East Texas communities. As an Amada Senior Care caregiver, you'll provide one-on-one support that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, independent, and confident in their own homes. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships while providing the compassionate care that clients and their families depend on. Your work as a caregiver matters. Requirements

• Compassionate and dependable with a positive attitude
• 2 years of caregiving experience is required
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Must successfully complete a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
• Experience using gait belts and Hoyer lifts is a plus

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care assistance and support with daily activities
• Offering companionship and meaningful social interaction
• Assisting with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance
• Preparing meals and helping with light household tasks
• Providing medication reminders
• Accompanying clients to appointments and errands when needed
• Observing and reporting changes in client condition
• Promoting a safe, comfortable, and independent living environment
